I am happy to be the principal of a school whose faculty and staff are highly prepared and capable individuals, who are dedicated to empowering students to be life-long learners and productive and well-behaved members of society.

     On behalf of the TIS staff I would like to extend a warm welcome to our website. We are looking forward to a wonderful school year as we continue to celebrate learning at TIS. Our community has spent the last year developing our shared vision, mission and belief statements. Our focus is on student achievement .This year students will have the opportunity to learn and utilize life skills and life long guidelines. We will continue to honor students for attendance and academic achievements. Lifeskills and lifelong guidelines will help promote achievements of all children.

     TIS stresses high academic standards, character development, and integrated, multi-disciplinary teaching approaches.  Through highly personalized curriculum and small class sizes, TIS encourages students to achieve their highest academic potential and to become well-rounded citizens.

     TIS upgraded.The upgrade included renovations and classroom improvements, as well as an enhanced science lab, library/media center, computer lab, art  room, air conditioning throughout the building.

     TIS has  main goals: To increase student achievement ,to provide an environment for risk-taking, to provide exceptional customer service, to increase student achievement in reading, to increase student achievement in math & science, to increase student attendance, also to increase parent satisfaction

     In addition to our strong academic focus, we teach students Lifelong Guidelines for Success and Lifeskills.  These concepts allow children to learn and develop proactive communication and social skills.
